Transformation Program Graduate – Patrick P.

Patrick P. was working and living with his mother and sister until tragedy struck his family. His sister died of a drug overdose. Grief-stricken, his mother blamed Patrick and decided to move away from the memories. At that point, Patrick could no longer pay the bills and lost the home his family had shared.

Patrick came to the Allentown Rescue Mission and joined the Transformation Program because he knew he “needed a change” and the program was “a good place to start.” In the next eight weeks, he learned about God, himself, and how to acknowledge his mistakes.

Currently, Patrick is employed by the Clean Team Workforce and hopes to soon afford his own room and find a steady job. When he can make that happen, he will see himself as having achieved success.
