Transformation Program Quarter Graduation

(Allentown, PA)— The Allentown Rescue Mission held a graduation to honor all the men who graduated from the Transformation Program within the last quarter. The graduation program consisted of music, graduates’ testimonials, and of course the recognition of all the graduates.

The Allentown Rescue Mission’s quarter graduation was held in the Mission’s chapel on Friday, December 20th, 2019. The night started out with some live music played by HEADSTONE 118. The night was used to honor all the men who had graduated from the Transformation Program within the last quarter.

The ceremony started by graduating four more men from the program: Gilbert, Michael, Tony, and Jason. Each of these graduates gave a testimonial where they talked about their struggles and how they overcame them in order to graduate from the program. They also talked about their future goals and how they have changed by being in the program.

Later in the evening the Transformation Program staff also honored all of the men who graduated from the program over the past 3 months. Each of the men received a pin and recognition from the staff congratulating them on their hard work, dedication and success.

The night concluded with more music by HEADSTONE 118 and a presentation of the 4th Quarter Transformation Program graduates. The Allentown Rescue Mission is pleased to present the Transformation Program graduates from the 4th quarter of 2019: Greg, Cornelio, William, Emanuel, Jason, Gilbert, Tony, Michael, and Dennis!

Since 1900, The Allentown Rescue Mission has fed multitudes of hungry and hurting men. Today we embrace all those experiencing homelessness with the compassion of Jesus Christ. We believe He has given us all a second chance in life-we’ve been saved, rescued, and now get to provide that same hope and renewal to others here, in the Lehigh Valley and the surrounding communities.
