Thank you to LV Hospital Network and the Dorothy Rider Pool Health Care Trust! Last month the Allentown Rescue Mission applied for a grant and was one of a few community service agencies that received much-needed funds to purchase COVID preparedness/response supplies. Through this grant, we were able to order PPE’s, cleaning supplies, paper towels, soap, disinfectants, trash bags, and the list goes on…
At the Allentown Rescue Mission, we are firm believers of support local. 100% of the grant money awarded was used to shop at the local branch of “The Restaurant Store – Lehigh Valley” located on Schoenersville Rd instead of shopping online…. A special thank you to Vicki, who worked with us to load pallets of product into our truck tightly!
