How We Serve

Emergency Shelter

The Emergency Shelter provides the essentials to men experiencing homelessness. They receive warm meals, hot showers, clean clothes, and respite from the hardships of the streets.

Transformation Program

The Transformation Program provides our guests with life skills, workforce skills, and religious classes to help them reclaim their lives.

The Clean Team Workforce

Clean Team Workforce members do a variety of jobs, earn wages, and save money as they transition back into the community.

DeSales Free Medical Clinic

Since 2007, DeSales University has offered medical services to the guests of the Allentown Rescue Mission.

Chapel Services

A long time staple of the Allentown Rescue Mission’s services to the homeless community has been chapel services.

Books to the Rescue

The men in the Transformation Program collect, catalog, and organize donated children’s books. Then we distribute them to local schools.
