Yes, a photo ID is required to enter the Emergency Shelter.

Guests may stay in the shelter for up to 30 days.

• The Emergency Shelter is not wheelchair-accessible. Guests must be able to independently navigate stairs.
• The Emergency Shelter does accept people who are blind who can perform all of their activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.). Seeing-eye dogs are permitted.

Yes. However, we do not accept people convicted of the following:

• Violent felonies
• Arson
• Registered sexual offenders on Megan’s List

No, the Allentown Rescue Mission does not offer rental assistance.

To enter the Transformation Program, you must:

• Be a guest of the Emergency Shelter
• Express interest in participating in the program
