(ALLENTOWN, PA) – The Clean Team Workforce congratulates its Employee of the Month for August, Darryl F.
Darryl F. came to the Allentown Rescue Mission looking for help to change his life after he left home due to unresolved family disputes. He recognized that the Mission had opportunities to redirect his life, and he wanted to “leave negativity behind and bring more positivity to his life”.
Darryl joined the Mission’s Transformation Program, and an immediate change came over him. The Bible classes and chapel services helped him stay humble and submit to God’s will, while the life skills classes gave him the confidence to forge a new path for himself.
After graduating from the eight-week program, Darryl started working for the Clean Team Workforce. With limited formal work experience, he not only acquired new skills but also learned a lot about himself. Darryl realized that he likes to challenge himself and takes pride in completing hard work. He pushes himself daily to stay both mentally and physically strong.
In addition to his excellent job performance, Darryl’s good-natured personality allows him to work well with employers and colleagues. He is very friendly, easy to get along with, and cares for others, especially those in need. He is someone who would give you the shirt off his back.
