“Thanks for Caring, Thanks for Giving!”
The Allentown Rescue Mission will be hosting its Annual Thanks for Giving drive on Saturday, November 23rd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is the Mission’s biggest fundraiser to help stock the pantry and supply food for the men for the year. This year’s Thanks for Giving food and supply drive will be held at six GIANT food store locations around the Lehigh Valley. These stores being:
Giant Trexlertown (7150 Hamilton Blvd, Trexlertown, PA 18087)
Giant Tilghman (3070 Tilghman St, Allentown, PA 18104)
Giant Whitehall (2641 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052)
Giant Emmaus Ave (3015 W Emmaus Ave, Allentown, PA 18103)
Giant Bethlehem Union Blvd (2174 W Union Blvd, Bethlehem, PA 18018)
Giant Bethlehem Easton (2918 Easton Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18017)
Volunteers will be at each of these locations collecting non-perishable food items and other supplies needed for our men at the Mission. Donating is simple! Grab a shopping list on your way in, purchase an item from that list, then drop it in the shopping cart on your way out! Your one can of soup can warm the hearts of our men forever!

Since 1900, The Allentown Rescue Mission has fed multitudes of hungry and hurting men. Today we embrace all those experiencing homelessness with the compassion of Jesus Christ. We believe he has given us all a second chance in life-we’ve been saved, rescued and now get to provide that same hope and renewal to others here in the Lehigh Valley and the surrounding communities.
