Allentown Rescue Mission June Billboards

Allentown Rescue Mission, changing lives for everyone

The Allentown Rescue Mission’s “I AM” billboard campaign tells the stories of their graduates, partners, volunteers, and the Clean Team. Each one of the billboards tells the story of someone who has been impacted by the work of the Allentown Rescue Mission.

“I AM” is a slogan used by the Allentown Rescue Mission to demonstrate that everyone is a part of the Allentown Rescue Mission. The featured people on the billboards say “I AM the Allentown Rescue Mission.”

Doug faced unforeseen circumstances in his life that led him to become homeless. After he found his way to the Allentown Rescue Mission, his life, spirituality, and health were changed for the better.

John and Jane gave back to the Allentown Rescue Mission, a landmark of Allentown after their retirement. They believe in the concept of “neighbors helping neighbors.”

Mrs. Pennsylvania, Rebecca West, has been volunteering at the Allentown Rescue Mission for almost a year. She more recently started getting her family involved as well so her son can learn he too can help and make a difference.

A graduate of the Transformation Program, Jeff, says that the Allentown Rescue Mission got him back on his feet. He now uses every opportunity to give back to the place that helped him.
