Shawn came to our Emergency Shelter after losing his job due to the pandemic. He’d heard about the Allentown Rescue Mission and decided we’d be able to help him get back on his feet. Our Transformation Program was exactly what he needed. Our program helped him develop compassion for others, be more mindful, and improve his attitude. He now understands his struggles and has positive ways to deal with them. Now that Shawn has graduated from the Transformation Program, he will start working for our Clean Team Workforce soon. Shawn thanks everyone who contributed to the work of the Allentown Rescue Mission and its’ programs, which help men in need such as himself.
