Today’s Transformation Program graduate is Andy. Unfortunately, like many Americans, Andy lived paycheck to paycheck. A disability kept him from working full-time, and soon he was unable to pay his rent. He used his savings to rent a hotel room, but soon his money ran out. Luckily, an employee at the hotel offered to help him find a nearby shelter.
He came to our Emergency Shelter and was eager to join the Transformation Program. Andy recalls, “It was a Godsend. The program gave me a chance to learn, work on myself, and improve.” The Transformation Program gave Andy job and life skills and showed him that others like him are close to Jesus.
Now that Andy has graduated from the program, he wants to save enough money to get an apartment. One day, he hopes, he will be a homeowner. We’re cheering for you, Andy!
