Meet Shaheed, one of our latest Transformation Program graduates. Shaheed grew up poor in New Jersey with his three siblings. When he grew up, he decided to move to Pennsylvania in search of better opportunities. However, a series of bad roommates and rent hikes left him homeless.
Lucky for him, a former resident of our shelter saw him in the streets and advised him to come to us. Here, he joined our Transformation Program after seeing the effect it had on the other men. “It’s a good program; it taught me self-control.” Commented, Shaheed.
Shaheed now wants to save money to get his own place and hopefully won’t need roommates. Good luck, Shaheed!
