Meet Mike, one of our current Transformation Program members. Mike came to use once he realized he had made some poor choices and taken the wrong path. He wanted to change and looked for a program that would help him meet his goals. “I’m willing to do whatever it takes to change and use this opportunity to learn from my mistakes and better myself,” states Mike.
“I admit I made mistakes, but I think I was really running away from God. So when I saw the God is Love sign, it really spoke to me.” Mike admits. To Mike, the sign on top of our building reminds him that God offers people not just a second chance but a chance to right their wrongs and find forgiveness. Mike is confident that through his faith in Christ and the help of the Allentown Rescue Mission, he will successfully complete the program and continue to grow as a new man in Christ.
