Today we want to ask you to please pray for John, one of the men in our care. Over the past year, John was diagnosed with some serious health issues. In spite of the tough year that COVID-19 has brought on everyone, as well as the personal trials and tribulations that are a regular part of life, John has remained upbeat and positive, saying “I know The Lord above is taking care of me and will continue to take care of me.”
His upbeat attitude has won him many friends in the shelter and recently he was able to celebrate his birthday with his friends in the Transformation Program. They enjoyed cake and John received birthday cards from his buddies.
It’s “little things” like this that can make all the difference in a homeless man’s life as he works to improve his life. Please pray for John that he will continue to trust in the Lord, and that the Lord will bring healing into John’s life.
