Antoine lost his job and had to return to our facility. While we hope that the men we help never have to suffer from homelessness again, we’re always happy to give a hand to them when they need it. So when Antoine’s financial struggles became too much, we welcomed him to our Emergency Shelter. Having experienced the impact of our Transformation Program, Antoine was eager to re-enroll. The program teaches the men job and life skills, offers one-on-one coaching, and allows them to participate in religious study.
“The most important thing I learned in the program is that I can always come back to God, and he will never say no to me”, commented Antoine about the program. Now that he’s graduated from the Transformation Program, Antoine wants to work in the Clean Team Workforce.
As part of the Clean Team Workforce, Antoine can work, learn new skills, save money, and hopefully find a permanent job with one of our community partners. He’s escaped homelessness before, and we’re sure he can do it again. In the meantime, Antoine will work to “stay in the word of God and be a better person”. We’re rooting for you, Antoine!
