One of the greatest joys of working at the Allentown Rescue Mission is hearing from Transformation Program graduates who continue to succeed. One of those individuals is Albert. He graduated in 2017, and has secured his own apartment, furthered his education, obtained a great job in New York, and has started his own business. Albert admits that the Transformation Program challenged him, and there were times when he struggled to complete it, but now his desire is to come back to encourage our men to complete the Transformation Program and better their lives. Albert states that “the program helped me in valuable ways: it got me closer to the Lord; my spirituality is in place. A lot of good things happened for me.” Albert is an example that change can happen if you work, and change often happens through learning from our trials and persevering through them with God.
