“Thank God and the Allentown Rescue Mission for helping me get back on my feet.” – AJ. The support of our donors helps us transform the lives of men like AJ. Their support means that we can provide the essential services these men need to turn their lives around. By the time the men are ready to leave the Allentown Rescue Mission, many have found long-term employment, housing, and have the tools to stay on the right path.
AJ has dealt with chronic homelessness most of his adult life, but earlier this year he joined our Transformation Program and began working with the Clean Team. Now he has a full time job as a machine operator at a local company. He is happy with his new job, and plans to save enough money to purchase a car and get his own place. AJ said, “If it wasn’t for the program, I wouldn’t have gotten the help I really needed.” Thanks to our donors and the dedication of our staff, the future is bright for the graduates of the Transformation Program.
