Larry had a tough childhood and the people around him would often put him down. This eventually led him to be hospitalized and homeless. Luckily at the hospital he heard about the Allentown Rescue Mission and the work that we do. Here he decided to go through the Transformation Program where he learned how to let go and get a handle on his problems. About the program he says, “the program works if you want it to work”. Now he wants to continue working, get his own place, and one day hopefully become a staff member at the Allentown Rescue Mission so that he can continue to give back.
