Carlos has suffered from alcohol abuse for over 40 years. Carlos received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 23, but never truly followed in the correct path. Walking on the wrong path, Carlos’ addiction led his life into a spiral. His choices resulted in him receiving multiple DUI s, broken relationships, and even jail time.
Fed up with his life, and the direction he was going, Carlos knew he needed to return to God. In March, Carlos came to the Allentown Rescue Mission to join our Transformation Program. The program provided one-on-one Life Coaching, Bible study, and prayer. Carlos says that through these resources he has gotten closer to God than ever before.
Carlos says that coming to the Allentown Rescue Mission and returning to God was the best decision he has ever made. He is looking forward to what God has in store for him and he knows he can stay on the right path as long as he stays close to the Good Shepherd.
