Sponsor an Event
The Mission needs to raise funds, and sponsors need promotion. When it comes to sponsorships, partnerships, media and promotion, the Mission "gets it" better than any other local charity of its size. The Mission with its $3,000,000 annual budget depends on private donations not government money.
Please help to make the Mission's 2010 events a source of support for the Mission's life changing services. The Mission's programs include a PA Licensed Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program, Emergency Shelter, Christian Living and Values Transitional Program, Housing Program and The Clean Team Workforce Development Program.
2010 Sponsorship Opportunities
WAEB 790 AM Spaghetti Dinner
In support of the Allentown Rescue MissionOctober 16, 2010
Radio personality Bobby Gunther Walsh will be making his famous meatballs for the WAEB 790 AM Spaghetti Dinner in support of the Allentown Rescue Mission. The event is planned for 4-7 pm on Saturday, October 16th, at Asbury United Methodist Church's Wesley Center, 1533 Springhouse Road in Allentown. The Spaghetti Dinner is FREE and open to the public.
Businesses and organizations can help to make the event a success by becoming event sponsors. A title sponsor, food sponsors, radio-thon sponsors and many others are needed to make this 9th Annual event a continued success.
Individuals, families and friends of the Mission can help by sponsoring "Meatballs". Each sponsored meatball ($10 each) will provide 5 meals at the Allentown Rescue Mission and help the homeless and hungry right here in our area.
To find out how you can become an event sponsor or a "Meatball" sponsor, please contact Bill Dickinson at 610.740.5500 x14 or wdickin@rcn.com.

Annual Supplies and Food DriveNovember 19th and 20th
With the help of B-104 FM, local Boy Scouts, Walmart Stores and Giant Stores, the Allentown Rescue Mission will present the annual "Stuff the Bus" Supplies and Food Drive.
Our goal is to collect 25,000 lbs of supplies and food to meet the Mission's needs throughout the year. Sponsors are needed to help underwrite the cost of promotion, coordination and collection of of these much needed items. A wide range of mutually beneficial sponsorship opportunities are available.
To further help the Mission, your church or youth group can organize a drive for the Mission. Drop off items prior to the event at our participating locations. Or join us on November 19 or 20 at participating Walmart and Giant stores.
