Community Partners

A meal. A warm bed. Secure shelter. These are things that most of us take for granted daily. But each day, hundreds of people throughout the Lehigh Valley go without these basic necessities. For more than a century, the Allentown Rescue Mission has addressed the changing face of homelessness, tackled its root causes and worked to end homelessness one life at a time, and in some cases, prevented homelessness.

Through Allentown Rescue Mission’s Community Partner Program, your business can partner with a well known and highly respected organization and receive increased company visibility and publicity. It connects you to an organization that the community trusts to help homeless people find a path to self sufficiency.

Why become an Allentown Rescue Mission
Community Partner?

Your partnership will help the Mission provide secure shelter, food, counseling and the opportunity to transition into permanent, affordable housing for some of our community’s most vulnerable individuals.

All Community Partners receive:
• A full year of publicity, promotion, and event sponsorship through print, radio, TV, e-mail, social media and direct mail.
• Publicity at all events
• A web site listing and link
• An annual report listing
• A framed certificate of appreciation
• Invitations to all Allentown Rescue Mission events
• Use of Allentown Rescue Mission’s Community Partner logo.

There are four levels of Community Partnership:
• Leading
• Supporting
• Contributing
• Associate

Partner benefits vary for each level with all community partners and all benefits are optional and may be accepted or declined as desired by each community partner. For details and additional information or to become a Community Partner, please contact Bill Dickinson, Director of Development at 610-740-5500, extension 14 or at wdickin@rcn.com.

Sponsor an Event

The Mission needs to raise funds, and sponsors need promotion. When it comes to sponsorships, partnerships, media and promotion, the Mission “gets it” better than any other local charity of its size. The Mission with its $3,000,000 annual budget depends on private donations not government money.

Please help to make the Mission’s 2011 events a source of support for the Mission’s life changing services. The Mission’s programs include a PA Licensed Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program, Emergency Shelter, Christian Living and Values Transitional Program, Housing Program and The Clean Team Workforce Development Program.
